Force 8K! The second phase of Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics is put into production, with an annual output of 60 million LCD modules

In Huizhou Zhongkai High-tech Zone, the world's largest module and TV production base is emerging.On the afternoon of November 5th, the "New Development, New Act, New Huizhou" theme interview group organized by the Propaganda Department of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee visited Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. in Zhongkai High-tech Zone.

According to Zhong Chuan, head of manufacturing of Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics, the total investment of Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics project is 9.6 billion yuan, and 36 production lines of the first phase project are mass-produced. The second phase of the project was officially put into production on October 20 this year, with an annual output of 60 million LCD panel modules in the future.

Huizhou Huaxing Optoelectronics is a wholly-owned subsidiary of TCL Huaxing Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of TCL Technology Group. It was established on October 8, 2016. It is a high-tech enterprise producing display panels.

The first phase of the company's project officially started on May 2, 2017, and was put into production on June 12, 2018. In 2019, it achieved operating income of 7.4 billion yuan and monthly LCD panel production capacity exceeded 4 million pieces. The second phase of the project was officially piled on July 9, 2019. The first main equipment was moved in on August 17, 2020, and production began on October 20, 2020. The second phase of the project will be based on 8K technology. Compared with the first phase, the technology is more advanced, the products are more high-end, and the production is more flexible.

Coupled with the TCL electronic intelligent display terminal project next to it, this area is expected to become the world's largest integrated intelligent manufacturing base for modules and complete machines in the future.
