LG Electronics Unveils World's First Wireless OLED TV
LG Electronics said on Thursday it will launch the world's first wireless OLED TV in South Korea.
LG Electronics unveiled the 97-inch "LG Signature OLED M" at the "CES 2023" International Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas, USA in January this year. design, attracting attention.
LG says the new OLED TV comes with a Zero Connect transmitter that can wirelessly send video and audio signals up to 4K resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate to the screen.
The cube-shaped box can be placed up to 10 meters away from the TV and still smoothly transmit data to what LG calls "the world's first consumer TV using zero-connection technology."
LG said it has developed an algorithm that can help minimize transmission errors or interruptions and determine the best transmission path for signals.
According to the company, this model allows for more flexibility in arranging gadgets and designing the home, and creates a cleaner viewing environment without wires tangled around the house.
This is LG Electronics' fifth product since it first launched the Signature OLED in 2016. In 2020, the Signature OLED R was released as the world's first rollable TV.
